There are many ways you can help the men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities who count on Providence Center.

Providence Center has been leading the way for thousands of Marylanders with disabilities to live independent lives while providing comprehensive care and skill training so that everyone we serve may reach their life goals and contribute to our community.

Our person-centered approach puts those we serve and their needs first, while empowering each individual to build their skills and abilities and chart their own path in life.

Providence Center, founded in 1961, is the oldest and most comprehensive supported employment, pre-employment and day habilitation provider in Anne Arundel County, Maryland serving the needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It was the first organization in the county founded for those with developmental disabilities. Our dedication to serving those living with disabilities is rooted in an understanding that everyone can reach their full potential and has contributions to make to the world around us.

Providence Center is the first and only choice for the best, most committed care possible for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Anne Arundel County. Now, in our 55th year of service, we will continue to advance our mission to improve the lives of those we assist.
