Providence Center offers the most dynamic and comprehensive services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the area. Our large range of programs and services allows us to meet the personal needs of everyone we serve. We work to empower each individual to direct their path in life and establish their contributing roles in their community. By selecting Providence Center as your provider of choice, you are providing your loved one with the best possible care and the opportunity to develop the skills that are needed to advance their abilities.
Our person-centered approach focuses on providing greater independence and quality care to those we serve. Choosing Providence Center means putting every individual we care for first, while our professional staff works closely with families, caregivers, and government agencies to ensure that participants’ needs and goals are met.
At Providence Center we believe that everyone can contribute to the world around them. Community employment and community membership are vital to one’s growth and development, lead to full inclusion in society, and must be pursued by all.
We want to ensure that every person at Providence Center has a personal plan to achieve what they want in their lives. A seamless transition into the Providence Center family is our goal when transitioning from youth services to adult care.
Our Admissions staff personally works with prospective families to make sure that new participants share our community goals and that Providence Center is the right match to serve their needs for adult services. This includes accessing medical and supervision needs to determine the level of care and support required and offering tours of our sites.
