Regular social engagement is an important components of one’s life. Providence Center’s Day Habilitation program provides our participants with stimulating activities while allowing families and caregivers peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are being cared for in a safe, healthy, and therapeutic environment. Full-time nursing staff is available to ensure that those we serve receive the best possible care.

There are many ways you can help the men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities who count on Providence Center.

Operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at our Jean Bradbury Building in Arnold and Cloverleaf Building in Millersville, Providence Center’s Day Habilitation program is a place where individuals come to have fun, exercise their bodies and minds, and engage with others. We provide specialized skill-building and activity programs and opportunities for social involvement, to gain independence and have community experiences. Our friendly and professional staff works closely with each participant to make every day different and full of constructive and appealing activities that meet personal goals.  The structure provided to individuals allows for complete care, including:

  • Social Interaction
  • Community trips
  • Crafts
  • Music Therapy
  • Educational Classes
  • Art Therapy
  • Performing Arts Program
  • Health Monitoring by Registered Nurses
  • Counseling
  • Assistance with Daily Tasks

Transportation is available to transport individuals to and from Providence Center take them on daily errands and to take advantage of all the opportunities their community has to offer.
